Our family has been vacationing in the mountains of Western Maryland for the past 25 years! The best part about our annual winter trips to Deep Creek is it is one of the few vacations that my dad will also go on, so the whole family gets to enjoy the time together. While we initially started going to Deep Creek for the snow and winter season around Christmas/New Years, we’ve also been in the fall to see the changing colors, and in the summer to enjoy the lake and hiking in the area.
